Our Story
Built by musicians, for musicians.
Phoenix Music Collective started as a simple idea between friends: what if there was a membership club just for playing music together? A clubhouse, a backline, and a calendar. With initiation fees, we built out a studio in a member's home, and opened our doors.
A nonprofit collective
We're registered in Arizona as a nonprofit. Every member buys in, pays monthly dues, and a real stake in the studio. There are no owners, just members keeping the collective running.
What goes on here
Open jam nights. Genre-themed sessions. Band rehearsals. The occasional show. Members use the studio to write, practice, record demos, and meet other players they wouldn't have crossed paths with otherwise.
Grateful, and going our own way
Many of us first met playing music together in music programs around town. We're grateful for those scenes. They're the reason we know each other. PMC isn't a replacement for any of them; it's just the next thing some of us wanted to build.
